I received a very pleasant email today, the folks that rented our home last year are interested in renting it again for the full summer. That is fabulous news for me because I don't have to go through the trouble of trying to find a renter and they left the house immaculate. It's a really big relief to not have to worry about that. Now on to other things to fret about...boat project priorities. Keith really wants to take on the fuel tank project. All I can say is that I'm super glad I'm not dealing with that stinky project. I want the teak put back on the bow pulpit so the kids can enjoy the space up there. I guess we need a new back-stay too but that shouldn't be too big a deal. My big BIG wish would be roller furling and a new head sail. Man....I forgot how totally cumbersome sails were without the furling unit. I've been spoiled and now I've decided I want to be spoiled again but yee gads those setups are expensive! Keith said he's going to do a bit of shopping around at the boat shows to see what's available. With regards to the sail, the Bumfuzzle's said they were pretty happy with their new set and since they have the same boat as ours it's a close estimate on what is would cost. I get giddy just thinking about how much easier life will be with that one change.
