It's kind of hard to believe that we are nearly halfway through May....where is the time going? It seems we are at the end of school year crazies where every school tries to squeeze in last minute field trips, last minute fund raising events and other end of year celebrations. Since Keith's in California already, as a single parent I find it all exhausting. Meanwhile I keep getting photos from Keith sailing in Monterey Bay and it looks beautiful and I'm jealous. Just trying to get through these last few weeks in Colorado with school and soccer tryouts and then I'm outa here. One of my co-worker's recently mentioned that she thought that our migratory setup was pretty neat because I always have something to look forward to. I hadn't heard it put that way before but she is right. I am jazzed about packing the car and leaving the house for the renters to take care of for a few months.
Seems Keith is making good progress on the small boat projects but the major one, replacing the electrical panel and all the wiring, is stagnated until he receives the custom panel he ordered. I'm excited to see what it looks like for the price we are paying, maybe it's gold plated!
I'm the wife of the captain, a mother of three boys and a PM in the corporate world. This blog is my view of life and activities related to our boat.
